NIRFAST is now built on the 3DSlicer platform, this enables:

Segment

Segment 3D medical images (DICOMS) to create numerical models for optical computation/image reconstruction.

Visualise

Visualise recovered images in 3D and/or overlaid on standard medical images.

Reconstruct

Reconstruct optical images of chromophores, scatter parameters, or luminescent parameters from real or simulated data.

>

Model

Model multi-wavelength and luminescence (fluorescence and bioluminescence) light propagation through tissues of arbitrary shapes in CW, time domain or frequency domain.
